Pixop makes ML-powered video enhancement for broadcast and streaming - restoring, upscaling and converting video in real time for live workflows, and at scale for archives. We run some of it as a managed service; customers can run the rest in their own cloud. Nobody here does operations full-time yet. That is this job.
What you will do:
Run our cloud - our own AWS platform, and the processing instances we operate for customers.
Keep it healthy - containers, GPU drivers, updates, rollbacks, capacity as the load grows.
Watch it - we run Prometheus and Grafana against our pipelines today; the practice around them is yours to build. What we measure, what alerts, what happens next.
Automate it - so we can run far more customer deployments without operations growing with them. Anything done by hand twice becomes a script, a container definition or an API call.
Talk to our customers - broadcasters, streaming platforms and MAM vendors, from onboarding to the call during a live event. You will not be solving every video or ML problem yourself: diagnose, explain clearly, and pull in engineering when that is the right move.
What you will work with:
AWS and S3, NVIDIA GPUs, Docker, MPEG-TS over SRT, REST APIs and webhooks, Prometheus and Grafana. You will not know all of it. Tell us which parts you would be learning.
What we are looking for:
Experience from our industry is strongly preferred - broadcast, live production, streaming, playout, OTT or media archives, or adjacent real-time media infrastructure such as CDN or cloud video. Tools take weeks to learn; understanding a broadcast environment takes years, which is why we weight it. You should be comfortable being the person a customer calls when the picture is wrong and the event is live.
Where you work:
We would most like you in Odense. Otherwise, live in Denmark, or close enough to be at the office at least two days a week. We work in English. You report to our CTO.
Out of hours:
Live events do not always run in office hours. How we cover them, and how that is compensated, is something you will help shape rather than inherit.
Tell us about one system you kept alive.
Send a CV and a few lines: what broke, how you found out, and what you changed so it would not happen twice.
